One of the big highlights of Super Import Nights 2012 is their car styling competition, also known as Autosyling. There 2 main categories and 9 sub-categories, the sub categories and their details are as follows
Best Airbrush
In this category, the teams are judged on the airbrush artwork rendered onto the automobile. The cars will be assessed solely on their artwork and nothing else.
Best Bodywork
Assessment of the cars in the best bodywork category will be based on the overall exterior bodywork, paint and presentation of the car.
Best car decal, vinyl, stickero
Best Interior
As the name suggest, the cars will be assessed based on the overall interior concept and combination.
Best I.C.E (Non sound quality related)
I.C.E stands for In Car Entertainment, which includes all manner of gadgets in the car like audio, DVD, video, gaming, etc.
Best VIP Concept
Cars in this category will be judged based on their stance and fitment,
bodywork, interior etc.
Best street/track race car concept
Assessment on the performance modification, exterior vinyl, rollcage, etc.
Best Continental Car
The overall modification on the car will be taken into consideration for this category.
Best Car Club (Three Cars)
All clubs with three cars or more will qualify for the best car club category. The best car club will be the team that has the higest combined score of their top 3 cars.
SIN 2012 Autostyling Competition Wild Custom
The second main category of the SIN 2012 autostyling competition is Wild Custom category. In this
contest, the cars that are eligible for the category include those with major modification to their exterior, or a mix of exotic paint work, custom molding of exterior or cars that have been converted into a new automobile that's not yet available in the market.
If you car contains any of the following features, they will be grouped under Wild Custom category.
Custom bodywork - wide-body work, extreme fiber work on car body
Over 50 percent airbrush artwork and a full bonnet that is less than 50% airbrushed
Door conversion, inclusive of and not limited to 'shave doors', 'Gulwing', 'vertical doors' and etc.
Modifications of the engine (Engine swapping, turbo charing a non turbo car)
Converting the car's suspension to air suspension system or hydraulic suspension system.
Contestants in Wild Custom will be competing with cars of all models, winners will be the team with the highest combined score.

Street Custom is one of the 2 Autostyling Categories in Super Import Night 2012.
To qualify for this category, the car should have no major exterior modification, neither should it have any aftermarket parts that are easily attached or bolted.

- Aftermarket or stock read and front bumpers
- Interior accessories and exterior add-on included, not limited to sports rims, aftermarket spoilers, in car entertainment, special color paintwork, interior accessories. Airbrushing must not be more than 50%.
- Customisation to the interior upholstery.

For SIN Autostyling Showdown registrants,
· To qualify for the contest, make sure that all your forms are filled out and submitted before the 4th of May 2012, 5pm.
· Registrants will be expected to make full payments upon submitting their entry forms
· Please do remember to indicate the category that you are looking to compete in, Street Customer, Wild Custom.
· The limit for competitors is 25. The registration is on a first come first serve basis. If you're not among the first 25, you might have to wait for the next show :(
SIN Autostyling Showdown 2012 will be taking place in Singapore Expo Hall 3 during the event on the 25 to 27 of May 2012. All of the competition vehicles are to be present throughout the event. The timing for bringing in the vehicles will be disseminated to the event participants accordingly
